This is our renowned entry level filmmaker course designed for recreational divers who wish to start their underwater filming journey.
This course covers the basics of underwater filmmaking from choice of cameras and housings as well as creating basic scripts and storyboards to filming methods and shooting techniques. The course also covers basic editing software choices and methods as well as social media platforms to display work created.
Course Pre-Requisites:
Student must be over 16 years old.
Minimum of PADI Open Water Diver (or equivelant).
Provide evidence of at least 25 logged dives.
Current dive medical or has completed a medical waiver form.
Course manuals included. Students may use the H20 camera systems or they may use their own if owned already.
Upon Completion:
Students will receive the H20 Films Underwater Filmmaker Certification and Certificate along with the *PADI Underwater Videographer Certification.
Course Duration: 2 days
Diving may take place at inland dive locations or require travel to specific dive sites. Students are responsible for additional costs such as but not limited to travel and dive location entry.
