What We Do ......
H2O Films prides itself on being able to provide the right service for our clients whether it requires a full marine based production team for underwater filming or individual underwater camera operators right through to equipment hire or marine filming consultancy for production companies who may require that little extra help in planning marine filming activities. We also provide marine safety teams and consultancy services incorporating highly trained personnel who have experience in emergency situations.

 

Other areas of our business include the training and development of marine media professionals and this aspect of H2O Films was developed by Managing Director Bryan Stanislas who utilised his extensive production experience and recognised a market requiremnent for teaching students how to become professional underwater camera operators, supervisors, scene riggers, safety divers and presenters.

Managing Director Bryan Stanislas has worked on a wide and varied range of productions over the years from local news through to Blockbuster Movies and LIVE Outside Broadcasts. His experience and professional skills have helped to shape H2O Films into the inetrnaionally known business that it is. 

 

Some of the productions worked on include: Batman Begins, 44" Chest, Eastenders, Casualty, Dr Who, Warhorse, Atonement, Sexy Beast, Basic Instinct 2, The Underwater Realm, Clash of the Titans, Little Dorrit, Silent Witness, New Tricks, Prime Suspect, Top Gear, Lark Rise to Candleford, Bo Selecta, Dream Team, A Touch of Frost, Live World Record Underwater Radio Show (OB TV).

Company owner Bryan Stanislas is a qualified commercial diver and diving instructor and personally has over 25 years experience in the film and marine industry. He first started surface filming in the early 90’s and quickly moved into underwater filming and photography. Bryan has also worked in Special FX specialising in water and fire related effects and has an extensive safety background in both areas. Bryan also writes a column on underwater filming for Sport Diver Magazine - the UK's biggest reacreational diving mag.

H20 Films are based on the south coast of the United Kingdom a short distance away from the cities of Southampton and Portsmouth, Hampshire. Proprietor Bryan Stanislas has been diving since 1985 and has been a camera operator for most of his underwater career. Bryan has also worked within the motion picture and tv industry as well as a diving instructor with BSAC, PADI and CMAS diving agencies. Bryan is able to offer a wealth of experience and knowledge when it comes to filming in the marine environment.

With combined excess of 50 years experience in the filming and dive industry the crew at H20 Films are some of the most enthusiastic and qualified around. With certified HSE dive teams who have dived in a variety of challenging environments H20 Films are able to provide a first class service to all our clients.
