Working as an underwater camera operator for film and television productions may seem impossible to achieve .
Our course takes place on both surface and underwater and concentrates on streamlining the filming and editing process so that it creates powerful and enjoyable productions . This is our top professional level underwater filming course designed to give the student professional the knowledge to work as a professional underwater camera operator within the film and TV industry. The course is structured over six weeks and involves office based duties and training that creates a story from script to screen covering aspects such as equipment and logistics choices through to a mixture of open water/confined water and surface filming that will help to create a broadcast ready production.

Course Pre-Requisites:
Student must be over 18 years old.
Current HSE Diving Medical certificate.
HSE SCUBA Diving certification (training available through Pro SCUBA Training)
HSE First Aid at Work certificate (training available through H20 Films)
O2 Provider Certification (training available through H20 Films)
Students should ensure that they bring safety shoes for this course.
Upon Completion:
Students will receive the H20 Films Pro Underwater Camera Operator certification and H20 Pro Underwater Camera Operator Certificate.
Course Duration: 30 days @ 5 days per week mon-fri
Diving may take place at inland dive locations or require travel to specific dive sites.
