
Underwater Lighting and Rigging Course


Lighting and Rigging for underwater filming can be challenging. Knowing how to rig and install the chosen lights and equipment that is required to film underwater generally only comes with experience.
This course takes place in a custom built training lake as well as pool environments. The H20 Underwater Lighting and Rigging course gives students the experience and insight into practical lighting and rigging situations for underwater video and filmmaking as well as set construction and de-rigg.
Course Pre-Requisites:
Student must be over 18 years old.
Current HSE Diving Medical certificate.
HSE SCUBA Diving certification (minimum) (available through Pro SCUBA Training)
HSE First Aid at Work certificate.
O2 Provider Certification
Upon Completion:
Students will receive the H20 Films Underwater Lighting and Rigging certification and H20 Underwater Lighting and Rigging Certificate.
Course Duration: 5 days
Diving may take place at inland dive locations or require travel to specific dive sites. Students are responsible for additional costs such as but not limited to travel and dive location entry. Course notes included.
